Self-Confidence Is The Key

Confidence; it gets you paid….

(And how do you ‘level up’ someone who has little/none)

When I came onto the copywriting ‘scene’

I came out swinging

My prices?

Premium

My service and work

The same

BUT

Even if it wasn’t (and 700k a month for my clients would say they were pretty good)

I instilled confidence in my clients because I was confident

They felt they had made a ‘smart buying decision’ and how I made them feel about their investment was just as important

No one is attracted to weakness

Confidence – in life and in business – is sexy

People are drawn to confidence

It’s attractive

To have and be around

Believe it or not?

I was a shy for a long time

It’s only when I was forced to go out on the street every day (when I was a headhunter) and I had to get an email address

Reason being they thought I was in my mid 20’s

I had just turned 19

They didn’t want me there

They wanted me out

I accepted it and did it

I was scared

I needed the money

I had no other choice

So every lunchtime I had to get an email address – that they would email – if it bounced back

I was sacked

So every day I had to and go out and somehow persuade a stranger to give me their email

It was hell

But I did it

And was one of the best things I’ve ever done

Works with the opposite sex too

Is anyone attracted to weakness?

I say no

Desperation
Neediness
Attention seeking

^^ all

Huge turn offs

Same in life

Same in business

Confidence kills in all aspects of life

Now, I’m fortunate to be able to work with hundreds and thousands of people – and this confidence issue I see time and time again

So how do you help someone be confident

Not project

Not ‘fake it till you make it’

Not act

Proper

100%

Internal
Complete
Confidence

How do you help someone own their life, and become the person they want to be instead of being crippled by their lack of confidence

I think it’s a massively important area and being confident (NOT arrogant – that’s for another discussion) is key to getting ahead in life
