Be Shameless

This chapter (along with ‘Be Spiteful’) is one of my most favourite things to have written

The amount of opportunities I have missed out on?

Ridiculous

Old me was far to worried about being ‘good enough’ or what other people think or that I would look like a tit when I failed

All I have now?

Was – in a major way – down to a lack of shame

Pitching for the thing…

Changing the arm…

And just giving it a go despite (often IN spite) of that little voice that tries to tell me not to do the things

Is it always successful

No

It IS more often than not

And when I messed up?

Well some of them sting; but they are generally past tense and forgotten about in a few days

– ain’t a thing –

So many brilliant people talk themselves out of the thing, or think it won’t work…..before they even try

Some of the most successful peeps (bar the legit geniuses and posh people who mummy and daddy bankroll) just get out of their own way and give it a go

It’s fun

It can change your life in some of the most ridiculous and brilliant ways

You never know where it’s going to lead

Little bit of advice for those of you who may be feeling ‘some type of way’ or maybe life/business has stagnated for a bit

Pitch the idea…
Ask the person out…
Write the post…

Whatever

And as the strapline to the chapter says; y’all dead a long time

Literally none of this will matter in a hundred years

So stop thinking about the ‘what ifs’ and just give it a go

It becomes addictive 😈
